Written by one of the most inspirational writers of our time Harper Lee; Go Set a Watchman is a compelling sequel to the award winning novel, To Kill a Mockingbird. This story gives us a look into the world of the protagonist Scout as she returns home to the South and the many civil rights issues transforming it. Although this novel was published in 2015, it was actually written before To Kill a Mockingbird, showing us that Harper Lee’s rejection did not constitute her failure but solidified her extreme success in being an award winning author.
